Katekh Municipality is a local self-government body in Azerbaijan. This municipality administers the village of Katekh in the Qakh district and participates in solving the local problems of the village residents. The main function of the municipality is to organize social services for the community and to make decisions concerning the development of the village. Katekh Municipality acts as the land user and defender of the local interests of the residents. They are also engaged in protecting municipal property and organizing public events.
