Former Transport Directorate was previously a state-owned enterprise. This directorate mainly maintained offices and garages for city buses. Its main task was to organize the storage and technical maintenance of vehicles. There were facilities both for managing drivers and for repairing buses. After the reforms, sometimes its name and functions were changed. In the past, such directorates operated in Baku and other large cities.
