Former House of Pioneers was a cultural and sports center established for children during the Soviet era. Here, children engaged in various sports, art, and technical classes. The center taught children skills in handicrafts, drawing, and sports during their extracurricular time. Nowadays, many such centers are used for different public and sports activities. Institutions of this type create opportunities for children to spend their free time efficiently. Buildings of such centers still exist in many cities of Azerbaijan.
