A Church is a building used for religious worship and prayer. Churches are mainly built for Christians and religious ceremonies are held there. There are several ancient Churches in Azerbaijan, and some of them are preserved as historical monuments. Churches play an important role in the religious life of the community and are often visited by tourists as well. Ceremonies, weddings, and other religious events are organized in these buildings. While the architecture of Churches is similar, you can also find some different styles.
