Statue of Koroghlu is one of the most well-known monuments in Azerbaijan. The statue is located in Baku and depicts the image of the national hero Koroghlu. This monument is made of bronze and is the work of the prominent sculptor Tokay Mammadov. The statue was erected in 1976 and is easily distinguished in the city by its height. Statue of Koroghlu is considered one of the monuments that keeps the spirit of heroism alive among the people. City residents and tourists often take photos in front of the statue.
