Statue of Koroghlu is one of the most famous monuments in Azerbaijan. This statue was erected in memory of the national hero Koroghlu. The statue is located in the center of the city, on one of Baku's main avenues. It depicts the militant image of Koroghlu holding a sword. The author of the statue is the prominent sculptor Tokay Mammadov. Companies such as memorial and monument firms specialize in creating such monumental works.
