Kultepe is an archaeological monument that served as a settlement in ancient times. This site is located in the Nakhchivan region of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The monument, situated near the village of Kultepe, dates back to the fourth millennium BC. Excavations carried out here have uncovered ancient residential dwellings, pottery, and work tools. Kultepe is very important both from a historical and archaeological perspective. It is not a village, but an archaeological site significant for history and research.
