Kura River Mouth Island is a natural island located in the Caspian Sea, at the mouth of the Kura River. The island is close to Azerbaijan’s Neftchala district and is mainly composed of layers of sand and clay. Kura River Mouth Island primarily serves as a habitat for waterfowl and other animal species. The area has dense vegetation, and it is also used for fishing activities during certain seasons. There are no large industrial or mega structures near the island, so the area is preserved mostly in its natural state.
