Kurgan is the term given to burial mounds used for interring the dead in ancient times. These mounds were mainly constructed from stone and earth. Cemetery, on the other hand, usually refers to an area or graveyard where people are buried. Kurgan helps us obtain information about people and their culture. Historically, kurgans are an important source of findings for archaeologists. There is no company with this name; the words kurgan and cemetery are mainly historical and archaeological concepts.
