Lazilar are an ethnic group living in the western Caucasus, mainly in the northeastern part of Turkey and in Georgia. They speak their own distinct Laz language and are primarily engaged in agriculture. Fishing, tea cultivation, and beekeeping have also held an important place in their history. The Laz people have preserved their traditions and music up to the present day. In their daily lives, they are closely connected with the village community, family, and nature. Here, the name of the village describes their place of residence, occupation, and way of life.
