Lankaran Fortress is a historical defensive structure located in the city of Lankaran, Azerbaijan. This fortress was built at the end of the 18th century to protect the city. The fortress is surrounded by circular walls and strong fortifications. Inside, there are watchtowers and an entrance gate. The fortress was initially used for defense by the Russians, and later by the local authorities. Today, Lankaran Fortress is preserved as a historical and architectural monument.
