A temple is a building constructed or used for religious worship. Temples are built according to the beliefs of different religions and are mainly used for worship, prayer, and ceremonies. Among the most famous temples in Azerbaijan are the Ateshgah and Gobustan temples. Historically, these structures have been centers of religious and cultural events. Temples are also considered interesting historical monuments from an architectural perspective. They are places of interest for both local and foreign tourists.
