Mərkəzi Park is part of the Baku White City (Ağ Şəhər) project. It is not a private business or a commercial firm. The park is managed by city authorities and contractors.
History
In November 2013, reconstruction began on the old “Sovetski” district in Yasamal.
The first part of the park opened on May 22, 2019, near Fuzuli Street.
The second part opened on December 30, 2022, between Mirzaaga Aliyev and Bashir Safaroghlu streets. The total park area is now 26.4 hectares.
The park was designed by Austrian architect Jens Hoffmann.

A place for walking, sports, and recreation.
Children's and sports playgrounds, areas for playing chess.
9 fountains, lighting, and surveillance cameras.
An underground parking lot for 347 vehicles, equipped with ventilation.
The park includes cafés and signboards. Two more cafés are planned to open near Teze Pir Mosque.
