Mosque is a religious place of worship where Muslims pray. Primarily, daily prayers are performed in the mosque, and religious events are held there. Mosques and minarets are key elements of Islamic architecture and are considered the main religious centers of cities. Minarets are usually built next to the mosque, and the call to prayer is made from there. Mosques are widespread in Azerbaijan and other Muslim countries. They are used for both religious and social gatherings.
