Mosque is known as a place of worship for Muslims. Here, people perform prayers, hold religious events, and pray together. Mosques come in many different names and sizes, and some mosques also have minarets. Minarets are typically tall towers from which the call to prayer is announced. Mosques are important spaces both for religious duties and for the community. Many historic and modern mosques operate in Azerbaijan.
