A Mosque is a place where people perform prayers and religious worship. There are mosques in every region of Azerbaijan, and most of them have minarets. Mosques are also used for religious ceremonies, Quran lessons, and charity events. Some mosque complexes include a library, classrooms, and separate sections for women. The largest mosque in Azerbaijan is the Heydar Mosque, where thousands of people can worship at the same time. Mosques and minarets are key symbols of Islamic culture.
