A mosque is considered the house of Allah and is a special place where Muslims worship. Prayers are performed in mosques, religious ceremonies are held, and Friday and holiday prayers are organized. Many mosques have minarets nearby, and the call to prayer is made from these minarets. Mosques often serve as centers where members of the community gather. Large mosques also host Quran lessons, religious events, and charitable activities. Mosques and minarets are also considered important from historical and architectural perspectives.
