A Mosque is a religious temple and gathering place where Muslims worship. In Azerbaijan, many mosques carry historical, architectural, and religious significance. The mosque and minarets reflect both national and religious traditions from an architectural perspective. They usually have a large prayer hall, a minaret, and a main entrance door. Mosques are built for Friday prayers, holiday prayers, and other religious events. Among the famous mosques in Azerbaijan are the Taza Pir Mosque and the Juma Mosque.
