A Mosque is a special place where Muslims worship. Mosques are usually used for performing daily prayers. Very often, one or more minarets are located next to the Mosque. Mosques are also open for religious events, Quran lessons, and community meetings. Many mosques are significant from both a historical and architectural perspective. There are many famous and ancient mosques in Azerbaijan.
