Monument to M.F. Akhundov was erected in memory of the renowned Azerbaijani writer and playwright Mirza Fatali Akhundov. The monument is located in central Baku, in the park named after Akhundov. The memorial was created by the prominent sculptor Fuad Abdurahmanov. It is made of granite and bronze and was installed in the 1930s.
