National Aviation Academy is a higher education institution in Azerbaijan that trains highly qualified specialists in the field of aviation.

The Academy was established in 1992 within Azerbaijan Airlines JSC. It obtained university status in 2006 and was accredited by the Ministry of Education of Azerbaijan.Team:
Rector — Academician Arif Mir Jalal oglu Pashayev, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor, full member of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan (ANAS).
Since his appointment, the Academy has entered a new stage of development. Academician A.M. Pashayev has successfully organized the educational and scientific-research work at a level meeting the most modern requirements.
Academician Arif Pashayev is Vice-President of the International Engineering Academy and President of the Azerbaijan Engineering Academy.
He serves as Chairman of the Council on Space Affairs under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
The teaching staff includes more than 430 people. Over 150 graduates work at the academy, 60 of whom hold managerial positions and participate in teaching. -

Certification of Participants in Education Quality Assurance Training
On July 11, 2025, the Academy held a certificate awarding ceremony for participants of the training conducted within the framework of the agreement with the Agency for Quality Assurance in Education. The event was opened by the Academy’s First Vice-Rector, Professor Edalet Samedov. The aim of the training was to improve staff qualifications in the field of education quality assurance.Scientific Seminar on "Assessment of Damage from Military Aggression and Occupation"
On July 11, 2025, the Academy hosted a scientific seminar dedicated to the assessment of damage caused by military aggression and occupation. The seminar was opened by First Vice-Rector Professor Edalet Samedov. Faculty members and students participated and discussed pressing issues in this field.III International Scientific-Practical Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Aerospace Problems
On July 8–9, 2025, the Academy hosted the 3rd International Scientific-Practical Conference on "Artificial Intelligence and Aerospace Problems." Scientists and experts from various countries took part and discussed recent advances and challenges in the fields of AI and aerospace technologies.
