Mincivan is a settlement located in the Zangilan district of the Republic of Azerbaijan. This settlement is situated in the southern part of the Zangilan district, near the Araz River. Mincivan is mainly known as a railway junction and plays an important role in the transportation of the region. Agriculture and service sectors are mainly developed in the settlement. Mincivan was occupied in 1993 and was liberated in 2020. Currently, some of the population has started to return, and reconstruction work is underway.
