A House Museum is a type of museum and is usually located in the house where a well-known person lived. Here, the life, activities, and belongings of that person are exhibited. There are several House Museums operating in Azerbaijan, and there are house museums of famous writers, poets, and artists. Visitors can come here to see the exhibits as well as feel the atmosphere of that period. Such museums play an important role in the preservation and promotion of cultural heritage. Each House Museum has a unique collection and original items are preserved there.
