Nakhchivan Customs Directorate for Air Transport is subordinate to the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan. This directorate carries out border customs control at Nakhchivan airport. It organizes the customs inspection of passengers and cargo departing abroad and arriving from abroad. Its purpose is to prevent the passage of illegal goods and to collect customs duties for the state budget.
