Nakhchivan Teachers' Institute is a higher education institution that trains teachers. The institute operated under the authority of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan. It mainly offered bachelor’s and master’s degrees in teaching specialties. The institute made a significant contribution to the development of education in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic. In 2019, this institute was merged with Nakhchivan State University and ceased its independent activity. Currently, teacher training continues at Nakhchivan State University.
