The Statue of Nizami Ganjavi is a monument dedicated to Azerbaijan’s great poet Nizami Ganjavi. The statue is located in the center of Baku, on Nizami Street, and was erected in 1949. The author of the monument is the famous sculptor Fuad Abdurrahmanov. The statue is made of granite and is surrounded by a large fountain and a park area.
