Oglangala Settlement is an important archaeological monument in the ancient history of Azerbaijan. This settlement is located in the Ancient Urmia basin and dates back to the 1st millennium BC. Large defensive structures and walls have been discovered at Oglangala Settlement, which allows it to be considered a strong fortress. The thick stone walls and towers found here indicate that the area was built for both defense and residential purposes. Local and foreign archaeologists have discovered numerous ceramics, weapons, and everyday items here. Oglangala Settlement is one of the most prominent and well-studied sites in Azerbaijani archaeology.
