Omar (3,395.6 m) is one of the highest mountains in Azerbaijan. This mountain is located in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, in the Zangezur range. The area around the Omar peak is rich in numerous rocks, slopes, and mountain meadows. The region is considered an interesting destination for mountaineers and nature lovers. The mountain’s nature and clean air attract tourists during the summer months. In winter, a thick cover of snow and harsh climatic conditions are observed here.
