The Hatter (tailor) profession is engaged in sewing hats or other headwear. In this work, the Hatter selects the fabric, takes measurements, designs, and sews the headwear. In such workplaces, which are similar to tailor shops and ateliers, various hats, hat accessories, and in some cases, clothing items are made. Hats with specific measurements and designs are sewn by order of the customer. Hatters usually consist of experienced craftsmen and give preference to handmade work.
