Paravan (3,825.9 m) is a high mountain located on the border between Georgia and Armenia. It is situated on the Javakheti Plateau and is one of the region’s well-known natural landmarks. The area around the mountain is mainly of volcanic origin and is rich in numerous streams. Paravan Mountain is an attractive destination for ecotourism and mountaineers. In the summer months, tourists come here to enjoy the natural scenery. It is possible to get a wide view of the surrounding region from the summit of the mountain.
