Panah Khan’s Palace is a historical defensive structure located in the Karabakh region of Azerbaijan. This fortress was built in the 18th century by Panah Ali Khan, the Khan of Karabakh. The palace consists of two parts — an inner fortress and outer defensive walls. Here, the khan’s family and local residents would take shelter to protect themselves from enemy attacks. Panah Khan’s Palace holds an important place in the architectural history of Azerbaijan. Today, this fortress is preserved as a significant historical monument and is known as a tourist destination.
