Pir are sacred pilgrimage sites located in various regions of Azerbaijan. People come to these Pir to pray, make wishes, and seek solutions to their problems. A Pir is usually established next to the graves of historical figures, religious leaders, or saints. Religious rituals are held here, and people recite prayers. According to tradition, during visits, sacrifices are made and alms are distributed. Pir is considered significant in terms of both religious and cultural heritage.
