The State Committee for Affairs of Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons of the Republic of Azerbaijan is the central executive authority responsible for protecting the rights of refugees and internally displaced persons (IDPs), organizing their social protection, temporary accommodation, employment, and the implementation of the "Great Return" program to liberated territories. The Committee carries out comprehensive measures to improve the living conditions and social problems of these citizens and ensure they are covered by state support.
History: The Committee was established in 1999 by a corresponding Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Team: Composed of civil servants, specialists in the social sphere, lawyers, engineers for infrastructure projects, and administrative staff.

Accommodation: Construction of modern residential complexes and relocation of IDP families.
