Qafqaz University was a private higher education institution that operated in Azerbaijan. The university was opened in Baku in 1993 and mainly provided education in engineering, economics, and social sciences. Since Qafqaz University was located near a bus stop, students could easily get to the university. In 2017, the university’s activities were terminated by a decision of the Azerbaijani government. It was known for its modern academic building, library, and laboratories. The university offered educational opportunities to many local and international students.
