Fortress Walls are defensive structures built to protect cities and settlements. They were mainly constructed in the Middle Ages for defense against enemy attacks. Many ancient Fortress Walls remain in the territory of Azerbaijan, and they are preserved as historical monuments. Fortress Walls are built from thick stones, and some sections also feature watchtowers. These walls hold great importance both historically and architecturally.
