Fortress Walls (19th century) are defensive structures built in the 19th century. These walls were mainly constructed to protect the city and its population from external threats. The buildings are made of thick stone and were once used for military purposes. There were battle platforms and observation points on them. These walls are considered among the historical monuments of Azerbaijan and today are of interest to tourists. Fortress Walls are an example of the architecture and defense system of that period.
