Qaragol State Nature Reserve (240 ha) is a specially protected area located in the Lachin district of Azerbaijan. The reserve was established in 1987 and covers an area of 240 hectares. Its main purpose is to protect Lake Qaragol and the unique surrounding natural complex. Several endemic plant and animal species are found here. Qaragol State Nature Reserve (240 ha) is of significant importance for scientific research and ecological education. This area plays an important role in the restoration and conservation of nature.
