Qaragol State Nature Reserve (240 ha) is a specially protected area located in the Lachin district of Azerbaijan. The reserve was established in 1987 and covers an area of 240 hectares. Its main purpose is to protect Lake Qaragol and the unique surrounding natural complex. Several endemic plant and animal species are found here.
