Gas Directorate

The Gas Directorate is a public service institution that provides natural gas to the population in cities and districts. In Azerbaijan, this task is primarily carried out by the "Azerigas" Production Union, part of SOCAR. The Gas Directorate installs and maintains gas pipelines, sets up meters, and regulates gas supply. It also formalizes the provision of gas to residences and facilities, enters into contracts, and monitors debt issues. The accident service tries to respond promptly to gas leaks and other dangerous situations.
