Gas Directorate

The Gas Directorate in Azerbaijan is an institution that manages the provision and usage of natural gas to the population and establishments. This area is mainly handled by the "Azerigaz" Production Union, which is a part of SOCAR. The institution operates gas pipes and is also engaged in the installation and inspection of meters. Major tasks here include the safe distribution of gas, elimination of leakages, and technical service. Furthermore, the Gas Directorate also manages issues related to subscriber debts, payments, limits, and connections on a system-wide basis.
