Gas Directorate

The Gas Directorate is a local service organization responsible for the provision of natural gas to cities and districts. In Azerbaijan, these directorates operate as part of the "Azerigas" Production Union and are subject to its rules. They supply subscribers with gas, check meters, and eliminate leaks and malfunctions. The Gas Directorate both provides technical conditions for new connections and maintains control over pipeline routes. It regulates the gas supply schedule during accidents and repair work, and informs residents.
