Gas Directorate

The Gas Directorate is a government organization that provides natural gas to the population and institutions in cities and regions. In Azerbaijan, this sector is mainly overseen by the "Azerigas" Production Union, which distributes gas. The Gas Directorates are responsible for the safety of the gas, the installation and operation of meters. They also handle the repair of pipelines, the elimination of leaks, and technical service work. Issues of gas debts, payments, and contract matters of subscribers are also regulated through the local Gas Directorates.
