Gas Directorate

The Gas Directorate is a state-owned institution and manages the distribution of natural gas in the country. In Azerbaijan, this task is mainly carried out by the "Azerigas" Production Union and is subordinate to SOCAR. The Gas Directorate is responsible for supplying gas to residential buildings, institutions, and other facilities. It is engaged in the laying, repair, safe operation of gas pipelines, and the accounting of meters. The institution also monitors gas consumption and provides gas-related services for the population.
