Gas Directorate

The Gas Directorate is a government service that provides natural gas to the population and institutions in cities and districts. In Azerbaijan, the "Azerigaz" Production Union mainly oversees and manages the distribution of gas. The institution installs gas pipelines, sets up meters, carries out technical inspections, and tries to prevent leaks. The Gas Directorate also keeps track of the debts and payments of subscribers, as well as new connections and disconnections. This entity is also responsible for controlling safety regulations, gas pressure, and quality.
