Gas Supply Directorate

The Gas Supply Directorate is an institution responsible for providing natural gas to the population and institutions. In Azerbaijan, local gas supply directorates of the Production Union "Azerigaz" mainly oversee this area. They lay gas pipelines, maintain the existing lines, and are responsible for their safe operation. The Directorate also ensures the installation, inspection, and accounting of gas consumed via gas meters. Providing operational services during gas leaks, accidents, and malfunctions is also one of the main duties of these institutions.
