Gabala State Nature Reserve (39,700 ha) is a protected area established on 39,700 hectares. Its main purpose is to protect nature, wild animals, and vegetation. The reserve contains coniferous and broadleaf forests, as well as rare species of birds and animals. It offers wide opportunities for science, education, monitoring, and tourism. Hunting, logging, and other human activities are prohibited in the area. The activities of the reserve are strictly supervised by the state.
