A cemetery is an area where people are buried after they pass away. Cemeteries are usually public burial places owned by the state. Here, graves are arranged neatly side by side. Maintenance work is carried out in the cemetery to keep the graves clean and protected. People come here to visit the graves of their loved ones. In Azerbaijan, cemeteries are located in both urban and rural areas and are managed by the state.
