A cemetery is an area where people are buried after they have passed away. Cemeteries are usually located in neighborhoods, villages, or cities, and contain gravestones and graves. Cemetery is not a company or an institution, but a public or municipal area. Religious ceremonies are performed here, and people come to visit their loved ones. In many regions of Azerbaijan, there are both ancient and new cemeteries. These places are generally well-maintained and under public supervision.
