A cemetery is a piece of land where people are buried after they pass away. Graves are dug here for the deceased, and burial ceremonies are held. In common parlance, a cemetery is also called a “graveyard” or “cemetery.” In Azerbaijan, there are cemeteries in cities and villages that are under the jurisdiction of the state and municipalities. This is a public area that operates in accordance with religious and ethnic traditions. A Cemetery is not a company or commercial institution; it is a place established for public service purposes.
