Cemetery

A cemetery is a place where people are buried. Cemetery is not officially a company or an enterprise, but rather an area under the authority of a public or municipal administration. The graves of deceased individuals are located here, and their relatives visit them. Cemeteries are established on the outskirts of cities and villages and require constant maintenance. In Azerbaijan, cemeteries are mainly managed by local executive authorities. Burial practices in cemeteries are carried out according to religious and cultural traditions.
