A Cemetery is a special area where people are buried, that is, where graves are located. A Cemetery usually belongs to the state or municipality and provides a public service. Funeral ceremonies, gravestones, and raised burial places are arranged here for deceased people. In cemeteries, peace, cleanliness, and order are usually given great attention. In Azerbaijan, almost every city and village has several cemeteries. These places are intended for families to visit and recite prayers.
